Dragon Library !

The mission of the Dragon Library is to support the students, staff, and parents of the William E. Norris School.  The library promotes a lifelong love of reading by ensuring that each student visits the school library on a regular basis.  Each student is encouraged to develop a positive ralationship with the written word through read-a-loud, book talks and reader's advisory, always asking readers to strive toward acheivable reading goals. 

The library provides access and instruction in information retreival, manipulation and display using computers, both desktop and laptop, with the aim of giving students a solid foundation in information literacy. 

The library works in collaboration with classroom teachers toward the acheivement of curriculum framework goals.
