Welcome to a new school year!

As a new school year begins, I invite you to join our efforts and events this year.   First of all, please pray for us.   A special opportunity for unity in prayer is offered by St. Anthony Parish on Thursdays when there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the church.   As Jesus once said to his disciples: “Come aside and pray with me…. can you not spend one hour in prayer with me?”    Parents who can are invited to come to the church between 2 and 3 p.m. to pray for the success of St. Anthony School.   Of course, you are welcome to join us every morning at opening assembly in front of the school.

Secondly, be sure to join us throughout the year in some of the many opportunities to stay connected with other parents: the family picnic, school assemblies, the FUN RUN (March 19), the Celebrity Waiter Dinner (October 23) and meet-and-greet dates like August 20.

Finally, please be as generous as you can in fund-raising activities especially at our major budget line-item events.   Namely, the Celebrity Waiter Dinner (donating auction items, selling/buying tickets and working the event) and the FUN RUN (tee shirt sponsors and pledges to the children who run laps for their school).   If you work for a employer-match company, please consider a donation to the school.   If you know persons who might sponsor a child or help the school with tuition assistance, please ask them to consider contacting the school to make a tax deductible donation.   St. Anthony School 501-3c organization.
